Prior to Catalyst, Chitra was a global marketing & talent executive for over eighteen years, including Head of Marketing, Head of Young Talent & Employer Branding, and Director of Communications - leading initiatives across Asia, North America, and Europe.
After a decade of providing marketing leadership at multi-million dollar brands and companies, she transitioned as an in-house executive talent acquisition specialist and drove multiple CXO and 'Head of' hires for both early-stage and publically listed companies.
With a successful experience of founding, scaling and exiting a retail company (acquired by amazon/pvt. equity consortium) early in her career, a move to the bay area in 2016 prompted her second entrepreneurial stint. She co-founded a talent tech startup whose customers across the US and Europe included enterprise brands in food and retail.
Originally from Mumbai, India, Chitra has an MBA and an undergraduate degree in Statistics. She is a certified wellness coach from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, New York, and is certifying as a Co-Active Coach from CTI. Chitra specializes in coaching programs for expatriate executive talent and entrepreneurs navigating new cultural environments.
